What does the manufacturer say about these rolls?
Manufacturer-described selling points, translated without verification:
- Aged mugwort rolls from a source factory; manufacturer-described patented technique.
- Moxa wool in its natural colour: soft and earth-yellow.
- Gentle, penetrating heat: through but not harsh, good penetration.
- Grey-white ash that holds its column without scattering.
- Light, pleasant smoke that is not choking.
- The manufacturer shows a laboratory quality test report for its rolls (available on request).
How is this product used?
Manufacturer’s directions with a moxibustion box (not included): 1) fix the roll in the box; 2) light it fully; 3) close the lid and adjust the vent — a wider vent gives more heat, so keep it comfortable and never too hot; 4) strap the box in place and begin. Do not use moxibustion in a closed room; keep the room ventilated.
What general safety precautions apply?
Manufacturer precautions: do not leave burning moxa unattended, to avoid fire.
- Do not use when overtired, very hungry or full, or very weak. No more than 30 minutes on one area. Avoid cold drinks, cold water and cold wind during the treatment period; not within half an hour after a meal; no bathing within 2 hours afterwards; keep warm and drink warm water.
- Not recommended for pregnant women, people allergic to mugwort or with an allergic constitution, people with serious illness or children under 3 — consult a doctor first and follow medical advice. Minors and people who cannot look after themselves only under adult supervision.
- Keep the heat comfortably warm; if a moxibustion device has a vent, adjust it to a suitable temperature. Stop at once if it feels too hot or redness, swelling, itching or discomfort appears. If a blister forms, stop on that area and around it, keep it away from water and clean, watch it closely and ask the seller for advice.
- Keep away from flammable items such as bed sheets and sofa cushions, and stop falling ash from burning the skin. When ash builds up, move away from the body before removing it. Always extinguish the roll after use to avoid fire.
- Use with care on sensitive areas such as the face, eyes and genitals, to avoid blisters.
- This is a mugwort product and does not replace medicines or medical devices.
What should buyers confirm before ordering?
Confirm the wool ratio, neutral or own-brand packaging, net weight, burn time, shelf life, current price, stock, minimum quantity, lead time and the test report for the chosen order.
