What are these thick moxa rolls?
Thick, aged moxa rolls about 20 cm long in white cotton paper, offered in three diameters (40, 50 and 60 mm) and nine moxa wool ratios (5:1, 8:1, 10:1, 15:1, 25:1, 30:1, 35:1, 40:1, 50:1). One additional 50 mm option is rolled in mugwort-leaf paper at 15:1. Higher ratios show a finer, lighter wool face. They are sold as single rolls for handheld suspended moxibustion.

Unit weights are the listing’s shipping figures, not net moxa weight; within each diameter they generally decrease as the ratio rises. Carton quantity is “ask the seller”; the archived catalog lists the 40 x 200 mm 5:1 roll at 250 per carton. Option 14 has very low listed stock.

What does the manufacturer say about these rolls?
Manufacturer-described selling points, translated without verification:
- Enlarged, thickened roll covering a larger area, as used in moxibustion clinics; “one roll does the work of several”.
- Strong fire and moxibustion sensation.
- Light smoke, burns smoothly, white ash that holds together.
- Wool soft as cotton, made by a negative-pressure, dust-free process described as patented.
How is this product used?
Manufacturer’s handheld suspended-moxibustion techniques, holding the lit end about 3 cm above the skin:
- Fixed: hold steady over one point.
- Circling: rotate clockwise or anticlockwise.
- Pecking: move up and down over the point.
- Sliding: move back and forth along the area.
What general safety precautions apply?
Manufacturer precautions: do not leave burning moxa unattended, to avoid fire. Do not use when overtired, very hungry or full, drunk, very angry, frightened or thirsty, sweating heavily or very weak; no more than 30 minutes on one area; not within half an hour after a meal; no bathing within 2 hours afterwards. Not for pregnant women or people allergic to mugwort or with an allergic constitution; people with serious illness should consult a doctor first; minors and people who cannot look after themselves only under adult supervision. Keep the heat comfortably warm; stop at once if it feels too hot or redness, itching or discomfort appears; if a blister forms, stop on that area, keep it dry and keep it clean. Keep away from flammable items such as bed sheets and cushions so falling ash cannot burn skin; clear built-up ash before continuing and always extinguish the roll after use. Take care on sensitive areas such as the face, eyes and genitals. The product does not replace medicines or medical devices.
What should buyers confirm before ordering?
Confirm the diameter and ratio, wrap paper, packaging, carton packing, net weight, burn time, shelf life, current price, stock, minimum quantity, lead time and any test or export documents for the chosen order.
